I have been drawing or painting most of my life.  I took up oil painting about fifteen years ago and it remains my favourite medium.  I love the rich pigments and the way the paint moves around the canvas. I also use acrylics, they have a very different feel and I like them for their quick drying properties suited to bold and fast painting.

Although I didn't go to formal art college, I have attended courses and classes from which I have developed different skills over the years.  

​

I get inspiration primarily from colour. From my travels (often on the back of a motorbike with my husband), my local countryside in Dippenhall near Farnham, flowers and people.

My work has  been shown in local exhibitions and online.
